- Donation to the Holston Home for Children to Keith Hinkle. Presented by Lonnie Jones, Grand Master, with Roy Climer, Noble Grand.

Gift presented by Roy Climer, Noble Grand to Lonnie Jones, Grand Master. Even his gift was golf balls! 🙂
After an invocation by Dr. Charles Worrell, we had fine fellowship and good food with dinner music. After dinner, we had a time of announcements. We joined together in song to sing the chosen hymns of the President (Amazing Grace) and Grand Master (Blessed Assurance); and heard from Mitch Kinder, Grand Patriarch; General Barbara Rogers, Department Commander and Karen Hamilton, Rebekah Assembly President, whose closing sentence was quite unexpected! We all had a good laugh! 🙂 A gift to the Grand Master and Assembly President’s special project, the Holston Home for Children, was presented by Lonnie Jones, GM to Ambassador to the Holston Home, Keith Hinkle with Roy Climer, Noble Grand. Mr. Hinkle then spoke of his experiences of working with the Holston Home for many years as an Adoptions Coordinator. “While I’m Waiting,” the Grand Master’s chosen song, was sang by Sherra Kinder . Master of Ceremonies, Mitch Kinder, kindly introduced Lonnie as his brother and friend. The thoughtful keynote speech was given by Grand Master, Lonnie Jones, who shared what Friendship, Love and Truth means to him. Friendship – how he and others in July, 1999, were befriended by so many across the state on the day they joined at the Oceee Lodge degree rally held in the Elks Lodge in downtown Cleveland. Love – how his love for the Order has grown through experiences and gained friendships in the Order. And, Truth – His appreciation for the truth of the Biblical teachings contained in the Order. He shared inspiring Scripture with all three of the points as well. We were dismissed in the benediction by Dr. Charles Worrell, PSGM and Grand Secretary of TN.

Lonnie Jones, Grand Master, giving his keynote speech of what Friendship, Love and Truth mean to him. Thoughtful!
Ocoee Lodge is glad to have Lonnie as a friend and Brother and congratulate him on his work in the Order as he leads our Jurisdiction as our Grand Master!

SO glad you created a webpage so others like me who are unable to attend still feel like I was there. I miss my lodge family back at home, but I know great things are going to happen this year! Best of luck to Grand Master Lonnie Jones and President Karen Hamilton!
